The feeling of the Vernix patient is definitely a feeling of being unprotected and being assaulted by the outer world.
The essence of Vernix caseosa is insufficient separation from outside influences. It happens that a person in that state picks up the sorrow of somebody who lost his mother, the hate of somebody who is divorcing, the anxiety of somebody who has to face a difficult situation, the hurry from somebody who is late and the nervousness of the whole city metting them on his/her way to work. Entering afterwards that person feels completely exhausted/is irritable/shouts at the children/feels discontented/aggressive/unhappy/depressive/needs the rest of the day and a whole night sleep to find herself again. - - - - - - -

In such a state we are the playing ball of energies coming from outside, mixed up with our own energy creating chaos inside. This can force us in an attitude of taking distance to protect our selves/staying home (house is a 2nd shield)/avoid: watching TV/listen to the radio/read the journal; have only superficial contacts with other people/electrical and other pollution. This as a plaster on a bleeding wound. We can be OVERwhelmed by all these outer energies/not knowing how to canalize them/unaware of what is happening. Can be so vulnerable that they are continuously in a state of emotional imbalance/can not take care of their own needs. Vernix therefore can be of wonderful help at a certain moment in our live, when we have the feeling that we are overwhelmed and unable to defend ourselves.  It enables us to build up a natural separation between our own energy and the outside energy.

Sil. relates to the periphery. Organs with the highest Sil. levels are the skin, nails, hair and the connective tissue that is present in all parts of the organism. Here the form-creative principle is at work. How is form given to the embryo? From the outside. Much more important than the embryo itself or the germinal disc is the environment of the embryo. Formative impulses come from it right until the moment of birth. The tissues of the amnion, the skin enveloping the embryo, have the highest Sil. content of all, with the ash contains 22%. That is the peripheral source of the forces that bring form into watery, living substance.

Lanugo ist sozusagen ein Schutz für die Haut des Ungeborenen und entsteht etwa in der 13. bis 16. Schwangerschaftswoche. Zu jedem Haar gehört eine Talgdrüse, die eine fettige Substanz, die Vernix caseosa (Käseschmiere), produziert. Die Lanugobehaarung trägt dazu bei, dass die Käseschmiere am Körper haften bleibt. Dadurch wird die Haut vor dem Aufweichen durch das Fruchtwasser geschützt. Mit der Entwicklung der Käseschmiere ist die Lanugobehaarung ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Haut des Fetus und dient zu dessen Schutz vor Vibrationen, Schall und Druck.

Die Lanugobehaarung wird zum Ende der Schwangerschaft abgestoßen, wodurch auch ein großer Teil der Vernix verlorengeht. An den Stellen, wo größere Haarbezirke erhalten bleiben (Kopf, Augenbrauen, Wimpern, Schultergürtel, Kreuzbeinbereich), bleibt Käseschmiere erhalten. Bei manchen Säuglingen ist das Lanugo auch nach der Geburt noch vorhanden, fällt aber kurz danach aus.

Miljoenen mensen te helpen met nieuwe synthetische huidcrème

Een team onderzoekers is erin geslaagd de meest natuurlijk huidcrème die er bestaat, na te maken. Met behulp van de DUBBLE bundellijnen (Dutch Belgian Beamline) bij de European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF)

in Grenoble waren de onderzoekers in staat de samenstelling en de structuur van vernix caseosa – de huidcrème die pasgeborenen bedekt – te analyseren. De synthetische crème die ze aan de hand van de gevonden gegevens

hebben samengesteld, heeft dezelfde eigenschappen als vernix caseosa. Deze crème zal een genezende werking kunnen hebben voor patiënten met een verminderde barrièrefunctie van de huid.

‘Vernix caseosa is een ‘intelligente’ crème die zich aan de omstandigheden aanpast.’

Perspectieven

‘Het mooie aan synthetische vernix caseosa is het brede spectrum waar het kan worden toegepast’, vertelt Rißmann. ‘Eerst ontstond het idee vroeggeborenen te helpen, want die kunnen een sterk onderontwikkelde huid

hebben. Maar de synthetische crème zal ook bij andere huidaandoeningen toegepast kunnen worden, zoals droge huid of dermatitis. Verder zouden we ook andere stoffen in deze crème kunnen stoppen. Hij kan dan fungeren

als geneesmiddeldrager. En tenslotte zou ook een cosmetische toepassing denkbaar zijn.’ De onderzoekers hebben met succes aangetoond dat ze een huidcrème hebben ontwikkeld die even goed is als vernix caseosa.

Intelligent

‘Vernix caseosa is een ‘intelligente’ crème die zich aan de omstandigheden aanpast’, zegt Rißmann. ‘Na negen maanden ondergedompeld te zijn geweest in het vruchtwater in de baarmoeder, is de huid van een pasgeborene

glad en soepel – anders dan van een volwassenen in bad. Nog niet alle functies van de crème zijn helemaal bekend, maar we hebben al wel kunnen aantonen dat de eigenschappen temperatuurgevoelig zijn. Dit houdt in dat de

crème voor, tijdens en na de bevalling verschillende rollen vervult net zoals boter zich verschillend gedraagt in de oven en op tafel.’

Een pasgeborene is bedekt met de natuurlijk huidcrème vernix caseosa.

Waterproof

De ongeborene die zich in een vochtige en warme omgeving bevindt, slaagt er toch in een huid te ontwikkelen die volledig is toegerust hem te beschermen in een koude en droge wereld die vergeven is van bacteriën.

De beschermende crème bedekt de foetus en de pasgeborene. Vernix caseosa bevordert de ontwikkeling van de huid zowel voor als na de geboorte. De crème maakt de huid ‘waterproof’ in de baarmoeder en zorgt ervoor dat de

huid kan ontwikkelen in een natte omgeving, terwijl hij na de geboorte de huid hydrateert, reinigt en zelfs zweren geneest.

Rißmann heeft de natuurlijke crème uitgebreid bestudeerd: ‘Zoals de meeste vochtinbrengende crèmes bestaat vernix caseosa voornamelijk uit water. De uitstekende eigenschappen komen door de toevoeging van 10% lipiden

(= vet) en 10% corneocyten (= dode huidcellen). De exacte samenstelling van het mengsel is belangrijk.’ Door röntgendiffractiemetingen met de DUBBLE bundellijnen bij ESRF kon hij de juiste verhoudingen van de

verschillende soorten lipiden voor de lipidenstructuur afleiden. Rißmann: ‘Lipidenmoleculen hebben min of meer de vorm van lollies, met een afgerond uiteinde dat bij voorkeur omringd is door water en een stokje dat samen

met de stokjes van de andere moleculen een vlot vormt. De corneocyten zijn even belangrijk voor de unieke eigenschappen van de natuurlijke huidcrème als de lipiden.’ De wetenschappers onderzochten ook de vorm van de corneocyten en de mate waarin ze water bevatten.

Wolvet

Een natuurlijke bron van de benodigde soort vetmoleculen is wolvet, dat schapen produceren en dat wordt gebruikt ter voorkoming van tepelkloven bij zogende moeders. De onderzoekers selecteerden de vetten die het meest overeenkwamen met de metingen die ze hadden van vernix caseosa. Ze gebruikten die om een synthetisch mengsel te maken dat zich op dezelfde manier gedraagt. Zo vonden ze ook een kunstmatige substantie om de vorm en eigenschappen van de corneocyten na te bootsen. ‘Het bijzondere aan dit onderzoeksproject is, dat wij een complex samengesteld geneesmiddel from scratch on hebben ontworpen, het met veel verschillende methodes gekarakteriseerd hebben en op huid getest’, zegt Rißmann. Met verschillende meetmethodes, bijvoorbeeld de microscoop, ziet het mengsel van synthetische ingrediënten er hetzelfde uit als vernix caseosa. Bovendien is het mogelijk de hoeveelheid water en de eigenschappen aan te passen.

In this state of consciousness he is without judgment knowing that if he hates or combats certain situations in the world he gives power to these lower energies and at the same time he is also affected by them. Everybody has to go through certain processes. That consciousness can make us mild. Human beings learn mainly by experience.
Contamination by the energy of other people (TV/radio/journals/electrical and other pollution) increases the suffering/pain/hate/violence channeled by mass media, putting the world in a still more miserable state. By the same mechanism the house where we live becomes a place where these negative energies are also stored. It can be easily understood how a therapist listening whole day to the problems of his patients, and who is not aware of these processes, is overloading himself with a lot of energy that is not part of his own energy and is charging also the place where he is working and living with the energy that patients left with him. The fact that the patient left a part of his (disharmonious) energy with the therapist does not help in any way the patient. He can only be helped by an inner process of cure that can be catalyzed by the intervention of the therapist. When there were no mass media it was much easier to live our own restricted reality. But mass media are part of our modern time and can help us also to feel more concerned with the world in general, to be more conscious of the role we have to play out of the small spot we live in. It makes us more responsible for the whole earth and we can not simply turn the button and stay unaware of what is happening in and with our world. This creates a complete new condition where a new consciousness of energy is necessary. We have to learn what is outside and what is inside, what is ours and what is not ours. Protection of our different energetic levels becomes essential to a harmonious functioning in our modern world. Vernix enables us in stead of ingesting all kind of disharmonious energies to spread a positive curing energy of love and concern over the world, focusing on love in stead of hate, on happiness in stead of sorrow, on harmony in stead of disharmony, on responsibility in stead of irresponsibility, on cheering with our fellow beings in stead of exploiting them. In the beginning of the treatment with Vernix caseosa this can be felt as indifference, but later on that feeling disappears letting a clear understanding of inner and outer energies.

Case example
31 yr old/mother of 2 children depressed since more than 10 yrs. Treated during 8 yrs already with 16 different homeopathic remedies. Was better for quite a time after Hyos but she was never cured.

She was tired and depressive, apathetic, restless in her head, unable to stop her thinking. As a child she always felt bored with other children, feeling different and preferred to be on her own. During her puberty she felt ugly, balancing between bulimia and anorexia. She was a dreamer, living in her own world of fantasy. She loved to read books. But in her actual state she is unable to read, she can not take in anything. She needs a lot of sleep.
